Caspar II C’s sire is the famous progenitor Cassini I, a son of Capitol I out of a daughter of Caletto II. Bo Kristoffersen jumped succesfully with Cassini I up to M class. Cassini I broke through at international level under the saddle of Franke Sloothaak. This duet collected many victories and honourable placings in Grand Prix, Nations’ Cups, and World Cup classes during challenging tournaments such as Aachen, Hickstead, Rome, Göteborg, London and Rotterdam. Cassini I has a great reputation as supplier of best showjumpers. Two of his descendants participated at the Athens Olympic Games  (2004): Cumano (Jos Lansink) and Olympic (Steve Guerdat). During the Olympic Games of Beijing (2008) the Cassini I-son Carlsson vom Dach (partnered with Will Simpson) was a member of the golden team. During the most recent Games (London 2012) the Cassini I-daughter Rosalia La Silla (under Mexican Alberto Michan Halbinger) was the most successful Holstein showjumper.

Caspar II C has interesting performance blood not only via his sire but also via his dam (Estia). Via Estia, the promising Caspar II C goes back to one of the most successful Holstein breeding families, dam line 890. Out of this family several outstanding products have been born, such as Casall, and Cesano I and II, Crocodile Dandy (Alison Firestone), Conally (Markus Renzel), Frimella (Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst) and “last but not least” Caspar.

Caspar, a full brother of Caspar II C, caused a furore in the international showjumping world. Under his sporting name Eurocommerce Berlin, Caspar won team gold medals during the World Championship in Aachen (2006) and the European Championship in Mannheim (2007). Partnered with Gerco and Wim Schröder, Eurocommerce Berlin collected many victories and honourable placings during international five-star tournaments.

The dam line of Caspar II C is a concentration of proven performance blood. Estia (by Caretino) performed very well under the sporting names Coba and Cathleen W, respectively under Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst and Marc Wirths. Ostia, Estia’s grandmother, was successfull under the sporting name Frimella when partnered with Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst. Via Caletto II, Caspar II C has in his sire and dam lines top showjumping blood of the legendary progenitor Cor de la Bryère.
