The sire of Cherkasy D Z is called Comme Il Faut, a stallion who lives up to his name, both in breeding and in top showjumping. Under the saddle of Marcus Ehning, he plays a leading role in the five-star circuit, which underlines not only his quality, but also his hardness and health. Comme Il Faut won for instance the 5* GP of Vienna, Madrid and Brussels Stephex Masters. In addition, he collected numerous top ten places in GCT classes, World Cup classes, Nations’ Cups and the EC in Rotterdam (silver team medal and 5^th individual). Comme Il Faut is increasingly manifesting himself as a supplier of excellent showjumpers and is now in the top 100 of the best progenitors.

 

With Animo and Libero H in the dam line, we see a succession of stallions that have performed at the highest level. Cherkasy D has everything to follow in the hoofprints of his illustrious ancestors. At the age of five he ended ex aequo 6^th in the stallion competition. Since 2020 he has formed a new duo with rider Pieter Kenis.
