The sire of Arpad D.J. is Kantje’s Armando, who was approved in the Dutch New Forest Pony Studbook. With an average score of 8,18 points, Kantje’s Armando became the champion of his stallion performance test and, later, was successful in showjumping and dressage competitions. Good blood cannot lie! Several descendants of Kantje’s Armando are also scoring great success, such as De Hofstede’s Cash, Daan, De Hofstede’s Carmanda, De Hofstede’s Carija, Manor’s Robinia and Rommedom’s Rapidy. Kantje’s Armando’ sire is the famous Kantje’s Ronaldo. In 2007, this unique pony stallion was proclaimed by the breeders as the most influential stallion of the past 50 years in New Forest breeding in the Netherlands. For two years he was even available as a stallion for the French “Haras National”, which is an absolute phenomenon. The number of his descendants that have participated at European Championships is exceptional, and Kantje’s Ronaldo himself also performed at the highest level.

Gandora, the dam of Arpad D.J., is a daughter of Young Winsome’s Adrian – a black stallion that is the result of crossing Duke’s Forest Antares (“Keurhengst”) with Winsome’s Angela (“Ster”, “Preferent” and “Prestatie fokmerrie”). Young Winsome’s Adrian was successful in showjumping competitions (class Z) as well as in the dressage world (class Z2) and he obtained several titles and premiums.

Last year Arpad D.J. was approved in the Dutch New Forest Pony Studbook.
