Dolany is sired by the legendary stallion Donnerhall. Donnerhall combined a sports career at Grand Prix level ridden by Karin Rehbein with a remarkable breeding performance, including more than 40 approved sons.
Dolany himself became 3rd at the bundeschampionnat at the age of 6, and at the age of 7 he was already competing successfully at dressage level St Georges.
The maternal line of Dayano goes back to Linaro (by Landgraf), Romino (by Ramiro) and Lord.
His damline is based in Holstein and guarantees strength and power. For generations already the Holsteiner stamm 776 is known as a mother line that produces champions. Dayanos great grandmother Onira is also the grandmother of the Grand Prix stallions Chapman Rouge (ridden by Andre de Miranda). Onira's maternal bloodline goes back to Sonja, who is the grandmother of the international jumping horse Leandra 17 (ridden by Otto Becker) en also the famous breeding stallions Acorado I and Acorado II.
