Joepie van de Wateringhoeve (Echo van het Neerenbosch x Darco)

Joepie van de Wateringhoeve is the result of crossing Echo van het Neerenbosch with Witske van de Wateringhoeve. Echo is a son of the legendary Chin Chin. Constant, sire of Chin Chin, performed at international level under the saddle of Dr. Ruping. Chin Chin followed in the hoof prints of his illustrious sire. During more than five years, Chin Chin was highly successful in international showjumping competitions. Partnered with Mexican Jaime Azcarraga, he participated at the Olympic games in Seoul (individually he ranked 6th) and Barcelona, World Cup competitions and the highest courses in the world. In his dam lineage Echo van het Neerenbosch combines progenitors Kashmir van Schuttershof and Heartbreaker, respectively 20th and 5th in the WBFSH ranking of the best suppliers of showjumpers worldwide.

Via his dam lineage Joepie van de Wateringhoeve belongs to BWP performance bloodline 45. In combination with different stallions Witske van de Wateringhoeve gave birth to two approved BWP stallions (Joepie van de Wateringhoeve and Carabas van de Wateringhoeve (sire: Toulon)), plus several successful showjumpers such as Enya van de Wateringhoeve (this daughter of Capriano performs at 1m45 level with Britain’s Chloe Aston) and Filou van de Wateringhoeve (this son of Toulon jumps under the saddle of Ben Beevers at 1m40 to 1m45 level).

Joepie van de Wateringhoeve’s grandmother is called Karien VD Wateringhoeve. She’s a daughter of BWP ambassador Lys de Darmen, whose name we find regularly in the dam lines of outstanding international showjumpers. Karien also seems to be the best of the best. Her son Ullrich van de Wateringhoeve (sire: Darco), a full brother of Witske, collected international ribbons under the sport name “Limited Edition 3”. Karien is also the dam of international performer Cor van de Wateringhoeve, a son of Thunder van de Zuuthoeve. Cor performs at 1m50 to 1m60 level in international four- and five-star events. Cor van de Wateringhoeve is ridden by Dominique Hendrickx.
