With Quicksilver C, the stallion station Roshoeve offers a young stallion that is the result of crossing the top progenitor Cicero van Paemel Z with an international sports dam. Dirk Demeersman achieved international success for years with the imposing powerhouse Cicero, including team gold in Linz-Ebelsberg, 6th place in the Antwerp GP and 7th place in the World Cup class in Mechelen. Cicero passes on his very good mentality, always wanting to do well, scope and his golden character. Year after year, his descendants advance to the top of the international showjumping sport, which means that he can always be found at the front of the WBFSH ‘top 100 ranked sires’.

Equally important and interesting is the story of Quicksilver’s dam, Orage. Guy Williams and Vincent Lambrecht have achieved great results with Orage in international 4* and 5* showjumping classes. Orage is not the only feat from this dam line. Her half-brother Titus won more than 200,000 euros in prize money and has collected numerous victories and honourable places at Grands Prix, World Cup classes and Nations’ Cups (in Aachen, Calgary, Sankt-Gallen and La Baule, among others). Orage’s granddam, Viola, in turn produced three showjumpers from the 1m60 circuit, namely Olympic Briljant, Jubilee and Onze Fons. In short, it is a family in which a lot of performance is anchored. Quicksilver C has not missed his sports debut: last year as a four-year-old ex aequo winner of the Pavo stallion competition and this year faultless in the same competition during the opening heat.
